NT Police, Fire & Emergency Services 

The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services is referred to as a Tri-Service. The Tri-Service is responsible for the protection of life and property and the provision of disaster and emergency management to widely dispersed communities throughout the 1.35 million square km of the Northern Territory.

State Fire Commission (TAS)

 

The TFS, the operational arm of the State Fire Commission, is an amalgamation of the State Fire Authority, the Rural Fires Board and 22 urban fire brigade boards. The TFS includes over 230 fire brigades across Tasmania and its islands. These fire brigades are comprised of around 250 career firefighters and approximately 4800 volunteer firefighters.

The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) is Victoria's lead government agency for sustainable management of water resources, climate change, bushfires, public land, forests and ecosystems.

Dept of Environemnt & Natural Resources (SA) 

DENR is responsible for environment policy, biodiversity conservation, heritage conservation, environmental sustainability and animal welfare, and is a custodian of information and knowledge about the State's environment. The Department also manages the State's public land - land held in the conservation reserve system and as Crown lands.
